Finding My Voice

After stepping away from the New York City music scene to focus on teaching and inspiring young children through music, Jaclyn has returned with a renewed sense of purpose and sound—a mystical fusion of dream-pop and ethereal rock that feels like both a protest and a prayer. Her songs shimmer with celestial textures and lyrical depth, blending politics, spirituality, and humor into sonic spaces where awakening and joy coexist.

Growing up in Cincinnati in a house filled with instruments and imagination, Jaclyn found her voice early through choir, theater, and songwriting. By age twelve, she had written her first songs on a hand-me-down guitar, turning raw emotion into melody and discovering the power of truth-telling through art. That early curiosity became her compass—leading her to study Vocal Performance at Indiana University, then on to New York City, where she honed her craft as a performer, educator, and ever-evolving artist.

Jaclyn’s music is inspired by her lifelong fascination with astrology, ancient wisdom, and the unseen forces that shape us, alongside the modern realities of politics, community, and human connection. Drawing influence from artists like Zero 7, Cyndi Lauper, and Air, she crafts immersive dreamscapes that feel both intimate and transcendent.

Her live shows are part concert, part ritual—a space where laughter, resistance, and self-discovery meet under a glittering, witchy sky. Whether she’s singing about love, justice, or the cosmos, Jaclyn’s mission remains clear: to awaken, to connect, and to remind us that even in the fight for change, there’s room for joy.
